Rubber button pad also called as Push button pad, Push button switch, Silicone rubber buttons, which is made of transparent silicone rubber material by compression mold tooling. Rubber buttons are widely used in industrial electronic products, medical products, consumer products as push button switches. 
Silicone Rubber Button  has excellent heat resistance property, cold tolerance, environmental resistance, electric insulation property and fatigue resistance property.

If you want the characters on buttons have backlight effect, you can choose laser etching technology. Some rubber buttons have special application, PU coating would be a better choice. Because it has better protection than matt smooth coating. While,the PU coating cost is a little higher than matt oil coating.

Another surface characters treatment is silkscreen printing.Compare with laser etching, silkscreen printing technology without backlight effect, and it is cost-effective. If you don’t have special demands, silkscreen printing with matt oil coating is good enough. 

If the surface of button pad is uneven,cost of doing silkscreen printing is higher than smooth surface.

Conductive rubber buttons

Silicone rubber buttons can be conductive or not. If your silicone rubber buttons requires conductive contact, we need to produce printing toolings. 

There are four different conductive ways.

 Conductive ink printing, Conductive carbon pills, Metal pills, Nickel pills.
