Power-Assist Devices Rubber Keypad
Power-Assist Devices Rubber Keypad, also called Power-Assist Devices Rubber Keyboard, Power-Assist Devices Rubber Button Pad, Power-Assist Devices Silicone Rubber Button. Silicone Rubber Button is usually soft and smooth in texture and comes in a wide variety of vibrant color options.
This Power-Assist Devices Rubber Keypad as shown in the picture, you can see a few different process methods:
Backlight effect--When illuminated, the text or patterns on the surface of the button's base emit a luminous effect. there have two methods: one utilises the properties of transparent silicone, while the other involves spray-applied laser engraving.
Surface text with multiple colors--It needs to spray laser engraving process to achieve. As required, the laser beam etches away the corresponding colour layer, revealing the layer beneath.
PU coating--the surface is touched with more friction feeling than matte smooth coating, visually matte.
The specific production process is as follows:
Step 1
mixes and smelts the silicone rubber raw materials and vulcanizing agent together in a roller mixer to form qualified transparent or semi-transparent solid silicone rubber, while molding into sheets. Due to the backlight needs, generally do not need to add color paste.
Step 2
According to the structure of the mold to divide out the appropriate size and specifications of the raw materials, spread on the mold, high temperature molding vulcanization process, so that the solid silicone rubber melts and solidifies into the required style. With the air gun tool, take out the made silicone rubber keypad products, and clean the mold cavity for the next batch of production.
Step 3
Trim the excess burrs after molding and quality check to remove defective products.
Step 4
Spray different color layers sequentially and then laser engrave the desired content. In this Power-Assist Devices Rubber Keypad, a total of three layers of colors are sprayed, of which the bottom layer corresponds to the color of the text pattern, i.e. white; the second layer of color is mainly used for shading, here is orange; the surface color is black.
Laser engraving removes all colour layers to form three symbols: an up-pointing arrow, a down-pointing arrow, and a battery indicator. Two layers of colour are etched away to create white characters such as “+” and “–”.
Step 5
Spray the PU layer to protect the text or symbol on the surface. PU coating is more frictionable than matte smooth coating, and the film formation is more obvious.
Step 6
Packaging after another quality check.
