Launchpad Keyboard, also be known as MIDI Keypad, Silicone MIDI Button, MIDI Controller Pad and Silicone Button Pad, which is usually used in music controllers. Keypads are usually asked to appear translucent or white, and then printed with colored characters. Characters are usually presented in two ways: silkscreen and laser engraving.
Launchpad Keyboard commonly configuration is 4*4, 2*8 and 8*8. Some keypads work with the tactile switch, and some keypads usually conduct electricity ( like conductive ink, carbon pills, golden pills and metal domes).

Silkscreen Printing
Silkscreen printing is a very common printing method, but also relatively low cost. It should be noted that silkscreen printing can only print one color at a time, if there are several different colors of characters that need to be printed, it may reduce production efficiency and increase labor costs. Translucent buttons like launchpad buttons are more suitable for silkscreen printing.
Laser Engraving
Laser Engraving can realize the requirement that the characters change color with the LED lights. Both laser engraving and silkscreen printing can achieve the light transmission. Before laser engraving, the keypads need to be sprayed with color, so the entire keypad will be sprayed with color. Silkscreen printing can only print the top of the keypad.

Epoxy Coating
Epoxy Coating applied to the key top's only, and provide a hard plastic or lens effect, which looks as beautiful as crystal.
Matte Smooth Coating
Matte smooth coating offers good wear protection and a smooth touch feeling that helps reduce dirt attraction.
Plastic Cover
Plastic rubber keyboard, also called P+R keyboard, in aim to improve keypad surface's wear-resistance, dust free, oil proof surface for long lifespan, and also have good aesthetic & backlight effects.
