Generally, there are two different way to form button surface characters..

 Laser engraving and silkscreen printing.Generally, after laser engraving and silkscreen printing, it need to coat Matt smooth coating( matt oil), PU coating to protect the surface characters. 

Transparent silicone button pad has backlight effect with laser etching technology. 

Another surface characters treatment is silkscreen printing.Compare with laser etching, silkscreen printing is cost-effective.  If you don't have special demands, silkscreen printing with matt smooth coating for silicone rubber buttons can perform well.

Silicone rubber buttons can be conductive or not. There are four different conductive ways.

 Conductive ink printing, Conductive carbon pills, Metal pills, Nickel pills.
