When you press the membrane switch, the contact on the circuit downward deformation, contact with the floor circuit plate conduction; When releasing finger, the top circuit contacts bounce back, the circuit is disconnected, the circuit triggers a signal.
Membrane Switches Panel is a kind of plastic which uses a rigid or flexible printed circuit board as the substrate, a feel or no touch keys on installation, and then covered with color printing decorative patterns. The switch circuit and the machine can be connected by welding or plug.

switch can consist of as few as 4 layers,
as many as layers.

PVC Membrane Keyboard:
shiny side; stability for acid, alkali and salt at room
temperature. Good wear resistance, self-extinguishing flame,
muffler shock, electrical insulation. Thermal stability is poor.
It is usually used in low common signs, panels.
PC Membrane Keyboard:
shiny side;high transmittance , low water absorption, good
dimensional stability, bending, tensile, excellent compressive
strength, heat resistance, cold resistance, electricity Insulation and
good resistance to atmospheric aging. Poor chemical resistance,
and fatigue resistance, easy to produce stress open crack.
PET Membrane Keyboard:
shiny side; good chemical resistance, insoluble in common
organic solvents, not alkali resistance. Has excellent mechanical
properties,electrical properties rigidity, hardness and the largest
thermoplastic strength and toughness, low water absorption,
excellent wear resistance ,friction resistance , high dimensional
stability. Tensile strength can be comparable with the aluminum
film, much higher than the PC, PVC. The PET has texture. It is
more expensive. PET is the best substrate in producing membrane
switching circuit . One of the textured PET is suitable for products
which has higher requirement on products surface or have a liquid
crystal display window.
There are two ways of forming surface characters.
1. Silk Screen Printing. 2. Laser Cutting.
