PVC: shiny side; stability for acid, alkali and salt at room temperature. Good wear resistance, self-extinguishing flame, muffler shock, electrical insulation. Thermal stability is poor. It is usually used in low common signs, panels.
PC: shiny side; high transmittance, low water absorption, good dimensional stability, bending, tensile, excellent compressive strength, heat resistance, cold resistance, electricity Insulation and good resistance to atmospheric aging. Poor chemical resistance, and fatigue resistance, easy to produce stress open crack,
PET: shiny side; good chemical resistance, insoluble in common organic solvents, not alkali resistance. Has excellent mechanical properties,electeical properties , rigidity, hardness and the largest thermoplastic strength and toughness, low water absorption, excellent wear resistance, friction resistance, high dimensional stability . Tensile strength can be comparable with the aluminum film, much higher than the PC, PVC. The PET has texture.It is more expensive. PET is the best substrate in producing membrane switching circuit . One of the textured PET is suitable for products which has higher requirement on products surface or have a liquid crystal display window.
