Not only in consideration of actuation force and silicone rubber keypads structure like silicone buttons travels, keypad conductive materials, silicone rubber buttons webbing, but also should in view of silicone surface & materials demands, like symbols & icons, protective keyboard cover, silicone keypads materials choice & transparency, hardness, color spraying coating.

What is Silicone Rubber Keypad common quality problems
1. Silicone Keypads & Keyboard protective cover will affect keypads actuation force and tactile feelings.
Like PU coating layers or uniformity, not only increase silicone keyads actuation force, but also will affect tactile feels.

2. Right Actuation force or within the limits of actuaction force telorance is not equal to good tactile feeling.
Silicone keypads have good tactile feels: one need right buttons travels, the other need buttons & keys webbing thickness should be same or harmonious.
Notes: silicone button and test the buttons webbing thickness is same.

3. Silicone Keyads & Buttons spraying color coating will affect actuation force and tactile feels.
This is one of button keypads technical difficulty for silicone keypads manufacturers. Like silicone keypads PU coating, silicone keypads color coating layer thickness and uniformity will affect silicone keyboards actuation force and tactile & touch feelings.
Suggest: Color coating keyboards, choose metal domes for stable actuation force.

4. The distance betweem silicone buttons distance or silicone button height will affect color coating effects.
Silicone rubber buttons distance if too short buttons height is too high, can't make sure whole silicone keyboards will be coated and easy to cause light leak.
This kinds silicone rubber keyboards should do color spraying coating by handwork, not by automatic spraing machines.

5. Conductive ink printing and screen printing is easy to wear off if conductive ink & screen printing ink is not drying enough, thickness is too thin.
